Åt precisely 11:11 AMUniversal Time December 21, 2012 a 5,125 year Cycle of the Ancient Maya Long Count Calendar will complete.

Τhe ancient peoples of Meso-america were of a vast interconnected empire, filled with rich art, education and destruction. The Maya were one of these tribes. Their written language was based on pictographs, much like the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The Maya had an amazing understanding of mathematics and understood the value of zero long before its discovery in the Eastern parts of the world. Their understanding of numbers and astronomy gave us the Mayan calendars of the Long and Short Counts. The Mayan calendar ends on the Gregorian calendar date December 21, 2012, which most people believe end of civilization, as we know it, while others  like myself believe it is simply a transition (cycle) of nature. Many theories have sprung up about this end date, ranging from the laughable, to the religious, to the scientific.

So…. What is supposed to happen

☞ A Magnetic Field shift will occur, this field is maintained by complex convection patterns in the Earth’s core that are protecting ‘life on earth’ from deadly solar radiation. This field also displays amazing light shows called The Aurorae, northern (southern)Lights.

Every few hundred thousand years, this field weakens, then reverses direction.

 its OK ……. It HAS occurred repetitively through out history

 ☞ Is the winter solstice and the Earth is pointing most away from the sun in the Northern hemisphere. This happens once every year.

BUT THIS YEAR SOMETHING VERY EXTRA SPECIAL IS GOING TO HAPPEN …

The sun will go on a “galactic equator” that is, the center-line of the galaxy.  It’s basically a line down the center of the Milky Way. This doesn’t happen every year. 

You won’t really see much in the sky on December 12, 2012. 

But still remember we are living in land-mark times in the history.

Such beautiful and amazing things are happening, and I feel so very lucky to get be alive.
